ABOUT ME

For the majority of people, honey is part of their daily diet. But not everybody can be a honey producer. This is me: consumer and honey producer. My story dates back from my childhood, when everything was a game. A grandfather passionate about beekeeping gives his grandson a hive as a gift. The years pass by, the grandfather passes away too, and so do the hives, but the passion is hidden somewhere in the gradnson”s subcounciousness. Then a gift that came out of the blue: a swarm that found its nest in an old hive forgoten in the back garden. This was the starting point of my journey in the wonderful world of bees and honey. I am a beekeper for six years now. Meanwhile, it turned from a hobby into a lifestyle that defines me and through which I define myself. I have read and studied a lot about beekeeping, but I still consider that I know very little about this complex world. However, I would like to share mu knowledge in the domain with the ones that have the same hobby or to those that simply want to find out more about the intriguing world of bees.
